Stellar Steps Foot Care's Website is still a work in progress! Online booking is not available yet.
Foot care is essential for maintaining mobility, preventing pain, and supporting overall health. Neglected feet can lead to discomfort, limit activity, and exacerbate conditions like diabetes, arthritis, or poor circulation. Professional foot care addresses common issues such as corns, calluses, and thickened nails, while also detecting early signs of more serious health problems. Healthy feet promote independence, hygiene, and confidence, making regular foot care a vital investment in your well-being.
Medical foot care and pedicures serve different purposes.
Medical foot care is provided by a certified nurse or podiatrist and focuses on treating and preventing foot health issues like corns, calluses, fungal nails, and diabetic foot concerns. It uses sterile, medical-grade tools and prioritizes health, functionality, and hygiene.
Pedicures, on the other hand, are provided by estheticians in a salon setting. They are primarily cosmetic, focusing on nail grooming, exfoliation, and relaxation. Pedicures enhance the feet's appearance but do not address medical conditions.
If you have foot health concerns, medical foot care ensures your feet are cared for safely and professionally.
I use only high quality, single-use, sterile instruments. Choosing single-use eliminates the risk of cross-infection from improper sterilization processing, improving client safety.
Keeping YOU safe:
I use medical grade, sterile, single-use instruments.
Before I do any thing to your skin or nails, they get a spritz and rub with 70% Rubbing Alcohol.
If needed, I can do a quick wash with a warm cloth with mild soap as well. **BUT please do NOT soak your feet!
Keeping Myself & Other clients Safe:
I am a medical professional and have strict hand hygiene practices ingrained from many years in healthcare.
I have medical grade disinfecting wipes that I use to clean my portable kit between clients.
I wear Personal Protective Equipment to protect myself from nail debris and dust.
